There are a lot of women out there being subjected to a lot of shit. But because there’s currently such a shroud of shame and self-blame around domestic abuse, many suffer in silence. Official stats say it’s 1 in 4 women. The reality is… a lot more.
You will never meet women as resilient, brave, resourceful and strong as these. So instead of pity, we decided to make heroes of them, as that’s what they deserve.
